This notice explains how Five Roam Coffee uses cookies and similar browser storage. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers personal data more generally.

What Cookies Are

Cookies are small files a website asks your browser to store. Local storage is a related browser feature that works in much the same way. Both let a site remember something between page loads.

What We Use

We use very little, and we use it to make the shop work rather than to watch you:

• Your cart and any applied discount code are kept in your own browser's local storage. They stay on your device and are only sent to us when you check out.
• A session cookie is set when a member of our team signs in to the admin panel. It is never set for customers browsing or buying.
• Our servers keep standard access logs, and use your IP address to rate-limit the contact, newsletter and login forms so they cannot be abused.

What We Do Not Use

We do not currently use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, social media pixels, or any third-party tracking or profiling tools on this website. We do not use cookies to identify you across other websites, and we do not sell or share browsing data for advertising.

If we introduce analytics or advertising tools in future, we will update this notice and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.

Third-Party Services

Some parts of the site are served by third parties who may set their own cookies when you interact with them:

• Razorpay, when you go to the payment step, sets cookies necessary to process the payment securely and to prevent fraud
• Cloudinary serves our product photographs

These providers act under their own privacy policies.

How to Control Cookies and Storage

You can block or delete cookies and clear local storage at any time through your browser settings. Doing so is entirely your choice, but note that clearing local storage will empty your cart and reset any applied discount code, and some parts of the site may not work as intended.

Changes to This Notice

We may update this notice from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.

Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, complaints that are not resolved through our normal support channels may be escalated to our Grievance Officer.
